ZWZT Launches 50,000-Unit Annual Capacity Expansion Project for Hydraulic Pumps, Targeting Surging Global Aftermarket Demand

2026 06/04

ZWZT Hydraulic (ZHTE), a national-level “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (Little Giant) enterprise and national high-tech company, today announced the formal launch of its 50,000-unit annual hydraulic pump manufacturing technical upgrade project. This strategic capacity expansion positions the company to meet accelerating global demand for high-quality hydraulic components—pumps, final drives, travel reducers, and swing gearboxes—across construction and mining equipment aftermarkets worldwide.

Capacity Expansion to Support Export-Driven Growth

The upgraded hydraulic pump manufacturing project will significantly increase ZWZT’s annual production capacity, enabling the company to serve a larger share of the rapidly expanding global construction machinery aftermarket. The initiative aligns with China‘s strong construction machinery export momentum: Q1 2026 industry exports reached USD 16.066 billion, up 24.3% year-over-year, with April 2026 exports hitting USD 5.77 billion, up 12% year-over-year. In the first two months of 2026 alone, exports to “Belt and Road” partner countries reached USD 4.638 billion, accounting for 43.4% of total exports, representing a 24.6% year-over-year increase.

“This production expansion is a direct response to surging overseas demand for our TM-series final drives and hydraulic components,” said the Vice President of Global Sales at ZWZT. “As Chinese construction equipment exports grow, so does the installed base requiring reliable replacement parts. Our capacity upgrade ensures we can support our global distributor network with consistent supply.”

Indonesia Leads as China’s Top Excavator Export Market

Indonesia has emerged as the largest overseas market for Chinese excavators. Customs statistics show that in Q1 2026, China exported 7,137 tracked excavators to Indonesia, up 60.7% year-over-year, with export value reaching RMB 2.38 billion, up 45.7% year-over-year—accounting for 12.3% of total Chinese excavator exports.

Indonesia‘s heavy equipment market shows sustained strong demand. The Indonesian Heavy Equipment Association (PAABI) projects 2026 demand to reach 23,000–25,000 units, valued at USD 3.62 billion, with the market forecast to grow to USD 4.89 billion by 2031 at a CAGR of 6–8%. Additionally, the country’s installed equipment base includes approximately 279,000 units, of which 41.8% exceed 10 years of service—representing about 116,700 units—creating substantial replacement demand for aftermarket components starting in 2026.

“Indonesia’s combination of active mining projects, the USD 35 billion New Capital City (IKN) development, and aging equipment fleet makes it a priority market for ZWZT,” the Vice President added. “Our Jakarta branch with local Indonesian staff is already supporting customers in the region, and our capacity expansion will further strengthen our supply chain to Southeast Asia.”

Africa Market Growing at 92%—New Frontier for Chinese Components

Africa has become a high-growth market for Chinese construction machinery. In the first four months of 2026, Hunan province‘s construction machinery exports to Africa reached RMB 1.92 billion, surging 92.3% year-over-year. National-level data shows that in January–February 2026, exports to Africa grew 77% year-over-year.

This growth reflects a fundamental market shift: Chinese construction machinery in Africa is transitioning from an “alternative option” to a “standard configuration,” driven by value recognition rather than price alone. For aftermarket components—including hydraulic pumps, final drives, and travel reducers for excavators deployed in African mining and infrastructure projects—this creates sustained demand.

Quality Excellence Supported by National Recognition

The capacity expansion is supported by ZWZT’s nationally recognized quality management system. In late May 2026, an authoritative media profile highlighted ZWZT‘s quality achievements: the company’s T-Series motor warranty return rate has been reduced from 0.25% to 0.18%—a 28% improvement in field reliability. Key quality differentiators include:
Quality Element ZWZT Implementation Customer Value
“International Quality Symbiosis” ISO 9000 + IATF 16949 integration Consistent quality across global operations
Quality Risk Sharing Supply chain agreements for recall liability Clear procurement risk mitigation
Digital Traceability Sensor‑equipped workstations with product codes Full manufacturing record visibility
International Quality Engineering 5 domestic + 5 international quality engineers (APQP, FMEA trained) Global standards on-site
The company’s quality management practices have been officially selected as a “Best Practice Case for International Quality Management Integration and Innovation” by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation. ZWZT was also recently profiled in a feature titled “Building Industry Benchmarks with International Quality Systems,” documenting its vertically integrated quality approach.

Product Portfolio Ready for High-Growth Markets

ZWZT‘s newly expanded manufacturing capacity will focus on its core product lines serving global construction and mining aftermarkets:

Product Line Key Specifications Target Markets
TM-series final drives 15,800 N·m torque, 93.5% efficiency Indonesia, Africa, Southeast Asia
Travel reducers Multi-stage planetary gearing Rental fleets, mining operations
Hydraulic pumps (new capacity) Up to 40MPa operating pressure OEM and aftermarket applications
Swing gearboxes Precision rotational control Excavators across all regions
All ZWZT components are designed for direct compatibility with excavators from major brands including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Doosan, Kobelco, Sany, and XCMG, enabling distributors to stock fewer SKUs while serving diverse customer fleets.

Global Distributor Recruitment

With expanded production capacity coming online, ZWZT is actively recruiting authorized distributors and service partners across:

  • Southeast Asia – Indonesia (supported by Jakarta branch), Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand
  • Africa – Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania
  • Middle East – UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman
  • Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan
  • South America – Brazil, Chile, Peru

Qualified partners receive factory-trained technical documentation, online parts catalog access, priority supply allocation, and streamlined warranty processing.

Looking Ahead

As China‘s construction machinery exports continue strong momentum—with 2025 full-year exports reaching USD 60.169 billion, up 13.8% year-over-year, and ongoing infrastructure investment across Belt and Road partner countries—ZWZT remains committed to expanding its manufacturing capacity, quality systems, and global distribution footprint. The new 50,000-unit annual hydraulic pump project represents a major step in the company’s strategy to become a leading supplier of high-reliability aftermarket components worldwide.
